Me: Can we please put the screens in tonight? It's going to be really nice the next few days and I'd like to open all the windows.
Him: Just open them...there aren't any bugs.
Me: Yes there are.
Him: No..it'll be fine.

This morning
Him: Maybe you shouldn't open all the windows today, I killed a mosquito in here last night.
Me: Whatever.

Ok, so I lied.

OK, so much for posting a photo a day. I'm a busy girl, what can I say?? I often wonder what it would be like to be a *real* stay at home mom and have NO OTHER obligations aside from the children. I've got trains to sell, photos to take (and edit, and post), 2 blogs to update and a house to renovate! I know, I know, by my own choice..but I'm just sayin!

That being said, I am really going to try from here on out...try to keep this thing updated, that is. I can't think of anything interesting to say tonight, however. It was just another typical day around here...maybe I can come up with something witty tomorrow :) Sweet dreams.

The funny thing is...

I have found that I actually take LESS pictures now that I have my fun camera. It's just not quite as convenient as the old. I can't hardly throw it in my purse or in my coat pocket, so it often times misses out on the random trips. However, these are the times I need it the most. That being said, I need to invest in a fun, fashionable camera bag. I have a sling bag that I love..but it's plain and black. So if you know of any great designers of fun, fashionable camera bags..please send them my way. And from now on, I will be posting at least a photo a day..this is my mission.

I don't get it

Can someone please explain to me why you would pay $26.05 for a $25 applebees gift card on Ebay? I just don't get it. I suppose it saves you from driving to applebees and going into the restaurant to purchase the card, but you can even get these cards at any local store now...walmart, kroger, etc.. Like I said before (twice)...I just don't get it.

The Daly Grind..new and improved

My daily grind now consists of new and exciting things! I have launched my new website www.dalymoments.com and although it needs a few more tweaks, the basics are there. I have 4 photo shoots lined up on Sunday at a pumpkin patch and I am pretty excited about it. My new camera is constantly calling my name!! All I want to do is take pictures! I have purchased a few backdrops and I am looking for cool props. So if you see any cool old chairs, old trunks or anything of the like...give me a shout, will ya? Do you know any newly engaged couples? I need some photos for my portfolio and Im offering a free shoot! Please send everyone my way and make sure to check out the photos from the insane asylum!
